In ODIs just bowl tight because the AI will not try to speed things up until the end, and by then most of your balls will take wickets anyway.Īt the beginning of test matches, the AI is way too aggressive and never change their field. Spinners could bowl half trackers with big spin and the batsman would get bowled around his legs. If the pitch is wet, bowl a half tracker with a medium pacer and watch it creep under the bat while the batsman jumps and plays a backfoot defensive shot. Spinners can bowl the same leg stump yorker-short fine leg tactic. Either you killed the batsman or he would hook straight to the fielder. Spam short balls and place a fine leg and square leg. Either they got bowled, or would play some weird whip shot to a short fine leg and get caught.

Having fast bowlers bowl a leg stump yorker line. There were certain things that just ALWAYS worked. I liked it a lot, but the AI was terrible.
